ACCA and Oxford Brookes University have worked together to develop a BSc (Hons) Degree in Applied Accounting, which is available exclusively to ACCA students who wish to obtain a degree while studying towards the ACCA Qualification.
“One of the best part of doing ACCA is, it combines Oxford Brookes University Bachelor’s degree with Professional Accountancy qualification through joint syllabus and exam system.
After completion A Levels/ HSC, ACCA allows students to complete Bachelors of Science in Applied Accounting from OBU at a fast pace (within 3-3.5 years). For this purpose students with the minimum required English skills need to pass up to Applied Skills level (first 9 papers) of ACCA, complete the Ethics and Professional Skills module and submit a Research and Analysis Project (RAP) to the university. If project is accepted, students will be awarded with BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting degree which is accepted internationally for employment and higher studies purposes.”
If you are exempt from any of the Applied Knowledge and Applied Skills exams based on a qualification more than 10 years old, you would be required to forfeit all of the exemptions in order to opt in to the degree programme.
The degree must be completed within 10 years of the earliest date of your first examination pass or the date of your first ACCA exemption being granted otherwise your eligibility will be withdrawn.
With an international reputation for innovation, high quality education and research, and global relationships, it is not surprising that Oxford Brookes University has been voted the best modern university in the Sunday Times Good University Guide for 10 years in succession.
